As someone who doesn’t know much about non-alcohol-related addiction I found this really interesting and wish that there was more Government response to the recent debate in this country! It seems like the US is now on the right tracks if they are taking a holistic public health view.

I went up to Sheffield on Saturday to attend the SMART Recovery meeting and meet the facilitators. I work in mutual aid as part of my day job but it never ceases to amaze me how brave the people who come and share are.
I am going to be starting a weekly SMART Recovery meeting in Nottingham soon (just working my way through the US Starter Pack) and it was really helpful seeing skilled facilitators in action.
