Polly phoned to tell me that she and her partner were on their way to the hospital with his parents.
His brother, who is an alcoholic, was drinking and drank bleach. I don’t know much about what is happening but the parents were asked to get to the hospital. I just hope this time he gets sectioned, not only for his own benefit but for the rest of the family.
I have asked Polly to phone me when she gets home to let me know how bad things are.
He has been offered help in many forms, but he keeps saying that he is okay. I told Polly that he has to acknowledge that he has a problem to deal with it. You can take a horse to water blah, blah…..
What a carry on. This is the third time he has been taken into hospital but the first for anything like this.

You sure are having a tough time , please take care of your own needs with all this going on.
Let’s hope that this might act as a catalyst for him getting / being willing to receive some help and support. Same goes for his family. A desperate act shows a desperate situation. Martin’s right, make sure you take care of yourself too :-)
