New Release

Hello everyone. I’m disappointed with myself that I haven’t kept a running blog. It has been far too long since I was last on here to write, though I have been reading all the updates from everyone.

I’ve been working away and finally have a film. It’s still rough around the edges, but it’s pretty much there. I will upload it on to vimeo and hope it can provide some people with information and hopefully an insight into the effects drugs have on a family and a user.

Also the effects it has had on my own family and what I’ve learned through the process of making the film. I now have a greater understanding of how we lost Brian and the work has helped me cope with the loss. Although it is something I will never fully come to terms with.

It is hard to believe it has just been over a year he has not been with us. I will get the video up soon (hopefully won’t have trouble uploading it) and hope there is some feedback.

All the best to everyone

Danny

It’s been a while, again!

That’s the Christmas and New Year break over now, sigh, but glad to get back to get back to work on the film. I think I needed a little break to assess everything and to fully appreciate all that I have gone through the last few months.

I have a few more interviews to do, then I think I’ll be able to start editing and see which direction I want to go with it. Brian Kidd was fantastic and suggested that it may even be used for teaching purposes at the medical school which would be amazing. And I also want to make my own film which of course I want to show here.

Thanks again for the support, back to work now!

All the best everyone

It’s been a while!

Hey, sorry it’s been a while since I last posted, been really busy!

Had interviews with the police, drug education, CPSG, three people in aftercare with LEAP, Dr Brian Kidd and have another one tomorrow with someone on the methadone prescription, I’m really happy with the progress, have learned so much and the support has been fantastic.

Have a few more interviews scheduled so I’ll keep you updated.

I’ll be keeping busy!
