Our varied audience have different needs and want different types of information.
In trying to direct each of our three groups of people to material most relevant to them, we have developed our 'Suitability' bar.
All items listed as resources have a 'suitability' bar beneath the thumbnail.
Clicking one of the coloured sections in the bar 're-orders' the list of items in to an order of suitability for the Channel colour that was clicked.
So, for example, click on the 'Purple' section in any bar and the item list will be re-ordered to show items most suitable to Users & Ex-Users.
We don't pretend this approach is perfect, but it should save you some time.
