Wired In, not Wired Out

Wired In is a very powerful tool, for gaining and sustaining recovery. From the short time I have been on this site, I have felt a part of this family. I had never blogged until coming onto this site, but I felt secure enough that I would not be laughed at or worse.

I say a very powerful tool, because while drug and alcohol agencies do their best they are often bogged down with getting the stats and other administrative duties, which can take the focus off the client.

The great thing about Wired In is there is no other agenda than giving support. This gives consistency across the board, something that everyone knows is important in recovery.

There is a good balance with people from all sides of the coin contributing to this site, ex-users at different stages of recovery, family members, therapists, and many other professional people. Also, those people who are still in the throes of addiction but seeking support.

The Wired In recovery community is without doubt a vital link in the recovery chain and an asset to those who participate. It would be a great shame for it to disappear from our toolbox.

Comments

Hi Tony, love your thoughts with Wired In, there is no other like it! with “Humour” Tony I looked at your photo and on the news today was some one who feels it fitting to let the Panda die out and naturally become extint.

I can’t see the likes of you and others on this site going any other way than multiply.

Best Wishes to you and all.
