Wow, why haven’t I been told about this site before? I never thought or even knew that there would be so many people in the one place, addressing the same issues. I think its amazing and I’m glad I’ve found it.
In all I’m here to learn. There is still a lot of stuff I want to find out. I’ve opened up to a whole new aspect of life and I’m loving the journey..x
Welcome Shelle, good to meet you and hope you will share your story with us one day. Big hug Annemarie x
Hey – absolutely great to see you on the site and blogging – am dead impressed!
I felt I had ‘come home’ when I first came to this community and I still feel that (only stronger) months on. I have learned tons and – if your faith in human beings has been sorely tested – this is the place to get it restored.
Anyone thats part of my personal support plan of which Wired In as it keeps me focused on a daily basis ,welcome I hope you learn a lot, I certainly have found some great people here that talk the same language of recovery.
Wonderful you found us!
Will be keeping in touch even though I’m currently on other side of world. Lots of stuff for you to read!
Enjoy! And tell others about us.
My very best.
Hey Shelle, welcome to the site. This has been an amazing way of connecting, growing and learning from the experience of others. It’s been an imporant part of my recovery.
Hope being part of our community helps you too.
Why services aren’t promoting this site is beyond me to be honest,
maybe they are not aware of it’s existence. But it seems to me that we have a wonderful resource here which is always available (no waiting lists), you can access it as little or as often as you want, disclose/share whatever you want, no having to travel to and from, is a great way for practitioners and family members to learn from the perspective of an (ex) addict.I could go on.
Anyway, a warm welcome to you Shelle
Welcome Shelle. Glad you found us.
