It’s our graduation today from our aftercare and resettlement service in Trafford. I’m so nervous at the moment. Been up since 5.
I don’t have to talk there but I want to. I’ve spent hours and hours trying to get all I want to say into a few words. Think I’ll have to read it out…..too nervous to remember it…..will that be okay? Have I missed something or someone important?? Oh God, can I do it at all? There’ll be 50/60 people watching/listening (or not)!
I’m not denying it’s a very special day and I’m proud to be part of it and it’s great that someone would even bother to make this such a special day.
Wish me luck…I really want to do right by the people who have helped me.
Hey – will be thinking of you today.
One thing I think about a lot. What you say is only a very small percentage of the message, how you say it is what matters.
So say it from the heart (which you will) and it will be great!
Wow, what a great day, Kato. I’ll be thinking of you from other side of world. Good luck. i’m sure it will go well.
Hey
Congratulations….
Have a great day… i am sure it will be as it is meant to and you will do great… as has been said… if it comes from the heart… it cant be wrong…
Let us know how you get on
Hello,
Hope your special day went well. and good luck with your continued recovery. One day at a time may be a cliche, but it’s quite a good way of focussing on maintaining recovery.
Congratulations,
I’m sure it went well. Please let us know!
Hi. Thank you for your good wishes and words of wisdom. We had a lovely day and lots of people told me my talk was good….even made some cry (including me)!! They also laughed…..now was that at me or with me. Some told me they could tell it came straight from my heart. That made a difference so thank you for that bit of advice.
I’m delighted to say I’ve been asked to stay on as a mentor and to help establish a service user forum.
I couldn’t be happier right now and it pleases me to be able to share that with you.
Hi Kato
Just to say well done and good luck in your new life and take it one day at a time x
Hi Kato
Congratulations, go forward now and live your dreams….
